01 / MANAGED PLATFORM
Put Ares to work. Leave the hosting to us.
Access the managed platform at ares.assailai.com. Configure authorized targets and supported operation settings while Assail operates the platform infrastructure.

SECURITY OPERATIONS AS A SERVICE
Ares SaaS gives your team a hosted workflow for launching assessments and investigating their results. Define meaningful scope, configure access, and use findings and evidence to decide what needs attention.
Assail operates
Your team defines and reviews
The managed platform infrastructure.
Authorized targets, scope, operation settings, and appropriate testing access.
The hosted assessment and evidence-review platform.
Finding impact, ownership, remediation decisions, and the evidence from reassessment.
ILLUSTRATIVE NETWORK PATH
The campaign agent connects outward to Ares and must also have a working route to the authorized private target. This conceptual diagram is not a fixed deployment topology.
ASSAIL-HOSTED ARES
Operators configure supported operations and review results in the hosted platform.
CAMPAIGN AGENT
Runs in a network location you select. Establishes outbound connectivity to Ares and relays supported traffic.
PRIVATE APPLICATION
Remains non-publicly routable. Local routing, DNS, access controls, and credentials determine assessment reach.
OUTBOUND PLATFORM CONNECTION + AUTHORIZED TARGET REACH
A connected agent does not make SaaS disconnected. If the environment cannot reach the hosted platform, plan an Ares Edge configuration instead.
STARTING ACCESS
Uncredentialed and credentialed testing examine different parts of the application. Actual coverage depends on the functionality the campaign successfully reaches.
Assessment position
What to prepare
Public application without supplied credentials
A reachable authorized target and defined scope. Protected functionality is not guaranteed to become accessible.
Authenticated application
Supported credentials or a compatible interactive sign-in for functionality behind login.
Internal application
A campaign agent with platform connectivity and target reach, plus any access needed by the application.
Unattended recurring operation
A supported authentication method suitable for unattended execution. Interactive login is not carried into schedules.
A REPEATABLE OPERATING RHYTHM
Assess a release, investigate a change, or revisit a known issue. Schedule eligible targets with supported intervals or custom cron and an explicit time zone.
Work
What your team can do
What to review
Launch
Configure an authorized target and supported operation settings.
Scope, reach, authentication, and intended assessment depth.
Schedule
Repeat eligible assessments on a supported cadence.
Readiness, run history, valid credentials, and actual execution.
Track
Follow recognized findings, remediation status, and regression indicators.
Evidence supporting each remediation decision.
Compare
Review endpoint changes between supported same-target operations.
Observed coverage differences, not a complete vulnerability report delta.
Reassess
Repeat the relevant assessment after a fix.
Whether the affected behavior remains reproducible under suitable conditions.
Recurring operations produce point-in-time observations. They do not establish uninterrupted monitoring or automatically prove every fix.
GOVERNMENT DEPLOYMENT OPTIONS
Work with Assail Federal to evaluate the offering, connected services, and controls your mission requires. These options are not interchangeable self-service SaaS regions.
Topic
What to discuss with Assail Federal
Boundary to preserve
AWS GovCloud
The deployment option, infrastructure placement, connected services, and operational requirements.
Confirm the exact service offering and full data flows. GovCloud placement does not establish every component runs there.
Google Assured Workloads
Model serving under a US Data Boundary and Support configuration.
This is a boundary for the model-serving component, not a claim that the entire Ares SaaS service runs in Assured Workloads.
FedRAMP Certification Class D requirements
Available offering, applicable certification evidence, and agency requirements.
Hosting, service certification, and agency authorization are distinct. No Ares Class D certification is asserted here.
Confirm the exact available government offering and applicable evidence before selecting the deployment. Do not infer whole-service certification from infrastructure location or model-serving configuration.
HOW IT WORKS
Open Ares for the main SaaS platform, or work with Assail Federal on the government environment appropriate to your mission.
Step
Action
01 / Access
Open ares.assailai.com or discuss government deployment requirements with Assail Federal.
02 / Define
Select authorized targets, scope, testing configuration, and authentication. Add a campaign agent for private reach where needed.
03 / Launch or schedule
Start an operation or configure a supported recurring schedule for an eligible target.
04 / Investigate and remediate
Review findings and evidence, assign work, and reassess affected behavior after changes.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Hosted SaaS requires connectivity to the platform. Government and disconnected requirements need their own deployment review.
